Advancing Truth through Innovation

01 /program objectives

Creation Quest aims to discover and support
innovative ministries and technologies that

Evangelize

by providing credible scientific evidence to move people toward a worldview shift and reasonable belief in their Creator (Acts 17:24-28).

Validate

the Biblical account of creation and strengthen faith (Gen 1-2, Rev 14:7).

Innovate

using the Creator's designs in nature or in the Bible with science to find practical solutions and solve real-world problems (Prov. 6:6).

Contest Categories

Finalists will compete in two distinct tracks, each focused on a
unique approach to advancing creation principles.

02 /Categories

Focus

Develop convincing evidence and proofs for God as Creator to help non-believers embrace faith and/or strengthen believers' faith and their witness for our Creator who is love and truth. (Acts 1:3, 17:24-28)

Examples

  • Creation apologetics ministries

  • Creation film shorts, documentaries, etc.

  • Creation-based ministries for justice, environmental care, etc.

  • Creation apps or games

  • Creation based VBS programs

Focus

Innovate and develop solutions to real-world challenges and crises by using Creation principles in the Bible and/or the  Creator’s designs in nature with science research (Prov. 6:6, Job 12:7-8). Show that the Creator's designs can still solve challenging problems today.

Examples

  • Creation-based programs: These would help solve health, mental, economic crises, etc., such as Creation Health and NEWSTART.

  • Creation-based Biomimetics/Biomimicry: Biomimetic and biomimicry involve studying the Creator’s design solutions in nature and using them to solve modern problems.

  • Creation Restoration: Plans to develop school, community, church gardens and why they are valuable. Restoring  soil or ecosystems.

  • Creation Research: using science and technology to restore God’s ideal designs, or others

Presentation Packet Requirements

  • List a 1 paragraph summary of your idea and why it’s creation based and innovative.

  • Describe specific ways your idea innovates for creation, and reasons or research why it will be effective, ideally to scale and reach many people.

  • Explain how it fits the goals of track 1: Creation Evangelism or track 2: Creation Solutions

  • Include a 5-7 minute video of you/your team presenting the idea and a PowerPoint/Keynote/Prezi file. The video should be in MP4, MPG/MPEG, WMV, or MOV.

  • Identify your need to bring this idea to reality and scale it up (mentors, marketing, funding, etc.).

AI Question: There should be meaningful input by the individual or team and every team should give their presentations themselves (no AI speakers for the whole presentation). But since it’s so crucial to advance creation truths and there is a short time until this contest happens, we will accept people using AI to help them with research, short video clips, making their presentations more professional/graphically appealing, etc. The main goal is finding practical ways to share the creation truths with as many as possible and SDAs have often been pioneers in using new technology to do that!
